WMO IG Arts and Science College is an offshoot of Waynad Muslim Orphanage established in 2011. It contributed greatly to accomplish the desire of the parent body to empower the marginalized socially and educationally.

  Wayanad Muslim Orphanage is a charitable organization established in the year 1967 with the objective of uplifting the backward society. Since inception the organization has contributed to educational, social and cultural fields and has done yeomen services in various fields.

     WMO has established twenty four educational institutions, from the kindergarten to the Post -Graduation courses, in the district of wayanad.

      WMO Imam GazzaliArts  and Science College , affiliated to Kannur University was established in the year 2011,with an objective of offering value based education to the general public , particularly to the Backward classes and minorities. The college is situated in a very calm, lush green campus situated 12 km from Mananthavady on the way to Kalpetta in an area of 12 acres of land. A new building is constructed with caters to the needs of students.
