STUDENT EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAMS
Employability skill is a behavioristic psychology term for an individual’s approach in real time work situation. It can be broadly defined as personal attributes that enhance an individual’s interactions, job and career prospects. Whether it involves face to face customer interaction or even indirect correspondence over telephone or e-mail, employees adept at Employability skills will achieve both individual as well as organizational success. Hence these skills are critical to showcasing one’s hard skills; both can be considered to be two sides of the same coin one without the other has no impact. The mission of this program is to facilitate process of gainful employment for learner population for entry level jobs as well as mid- career level employment opportunities. English language enhancement, self-motivation interpersonal and intrapersonal communication, group discussion, debates etc. are facilitated sessions.
REMEDIAL COACHING
The Institution runs Remedial Coaching classes for students belonging to slow learners or backward communities for pursuing their studies efficiently and to reduce their failure and drop-out rate. These special classes are conducted outside the regular timetable of class hour. Students belonging to Other Backward Classes and General Candidates may also be allowed the benefit of such coaching classes. Remedial Coaching is to be organized at Undergraduate level with a view to improving academic skills and linguistic proficiency of the students in various subjects.
MENTORING
Mentoring is a partnership between Mentor and Mentee. Mentors are student-centric teacher- friends who help young adult learners in their transitory phases and challenging times. It is based on mutual trust and respect. It has been introduced for obtaining a holistic assessment of the learners’ performance and providing inclusive spaces for growth and development. Mentors apply their guidance, experience and expertise in promoting their mentees professionally and personally, through interpersonal engagement.

COACHING FOR NET / SET
The Centre offers National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Eligibility Test (SET) coaching classes for UG and PG students.
COUNSELLING CENTRE
Counselling centre help the students to deal with both personal and academic problems and enables them to identify their strengths and weaknesses, to chalk out a suitable educational / career path etc. Centre provides psychological counselling session, personal counseling, relaxation therapy, cognitive behavior therapy etc. to the students as and when needed.
DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE
The College Discipline Committee is constituted for the maintenance of discipline in the college. The committee will ensure that students obey rules and remain orderly and peaceful in the pursuant of educational objectives/goals in the college community.
DISCIPLINARY RULES:
- To maintain and enforce strict discipline within the college campus.
- All the students should wear their ID Cards while they are in the campus and their respective class rooms.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in the college campus and ensures that this is being strictly followed.
- To ensure that students maintain complete silence in the library.
- To maintain proper discipline in the college canteen and student waiting room during the college working hours.
- If any damage is caused to the college property by any student / group of students, the cost of the same will be recovered with a fine from the said student / group of this will be followed by disciplinary action.
- If any indiscipline is found by any of the students, warn them on the first instance. Take disciplinary action based on the rules and regulations of the committee, if the pattern of misconduct continues.
- To assist the college anti-ragging committee in preventing ragging in the College and to spread anti-ragging campaign throughout the students community.
- It is impermissible to let the students enter the classroom without uniform.
- Students are not allowed to touch or keep dangerous or harmful objects.
- Students are not allowed to throw objects around the college.
- Students respect other’s feelings – no teasing, name calling, swearing, etc.
- Students- respect other’s person – no rough play, fighting, bullying, threats, harassing, etc.
- Students– respect other’s property – no theft, vandalism, etc.
- Keep your college clean just as you would keep your house clean.
- Throw rubbish in the bin, keep the place clean always.
